Our Story
Kassie found her love and passion for food and hospitality over a decade ago working in high end bars and hotels in New York City. She and her husband Patrick met in Brooklyn and moved down to New Orleans so she could study her craft and Patrick followed his love for music as they opened restaurants together in the Big Easy.
After having two kids and quite a bit of travel, they serendipitously found themselves living in on Lake Hebron in Maine, where they have put down roots and created a home. The small town's charm and sense of old world community were unlike any the Hefferan's had ever experienced in their travels.
Over time, with tremendous support from the local community, their home has become a test kitchen, catering facility, bakery counter, and local food distribution center where they work with farmers, makers, and artists of all kinds to provide Mainers with quality organic foods and goods.
Located in the town of Monson on the corner of Pleasant & Center, the Hefferan's welcome you to enjoy their home in Maine and experience the way life should be.
